Tricky Access Underfloor, North Shore

We’re known for getting into underfloor spaces others won’t. Usually that means there isn’t enough room. On this one, it was the opposite.

Location

North Shore, Auckland

Project type

Underfloor Insulation

The home backed onto a creek, with the underfloor cavity opening up to more than 6 metres in places. Access underneath was awkward, steep and slippery. A walk in the park compared to the rest of it.

The scaffolding quote was many times the cost of the insulation itself. We found a safe way to complete the job without it, at a fraction of the cost.

We won't show how, but let’s just say Simon can levitate.

BONUS: Another one

Not quite as dramatic, but another good example of the spaces we get called in to do when others won’t or can’t.
